A bittersweet event. Sad for MM- it's tough to see an artist like Vinnie go ... but great for Vinny, who is such a huge talent and who's career I hope really takes off.
Guys
THe ALbert Lee is gaining momentum but it has been a slow seller since its introduction in 1993.
We're also amazed at the amount you have tooEveryone thats played my AL's is amazed at them.
I have to say that in the time I have been watching this forum and the few days I have been a member I am blown away. Thanks BP for being so active on this forum and for letting the people who love your company know what's going on before it's in some guitar mag or the album cover of someone's new album. I look forward to joining the Ball family A.S.A.P.
Pete you're in great shape for 55, it must have something to do with the trays you told me about?Next year (2008) is our 55th Anniversary
This has been in the works for some time.
Vinnie sent us an email saying that with his increased exposure with UFO that other companies have been after him and that he is ready to switch. I think that without going into too much detail that he felt that he was in a secondary position with us and wanted to be someones big fish.
We wish Vinny nothing but the best and are happy that he was with us the longest of any of the other guitars that he endorsed.
