Ampeg SVT3Pro, Ampeg STV410HLF, Furman PL-8 Series II power conditioner, Korg DTR-2000 Tuner, Shure PGX 14 Wireless, and a Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus. Nothing fancy, I like to keep it simple. Sorry for the ugly background, it's in our practice space which has been draped with carpet and foam to keep the sound from bouncing around the room.

HOLY SMOKE! That has to be one of the sweetest looking rigs I have ever seen, nice work. The Big Al is like the vanilla icing on top of that cake. ;-)

Yummy!

Actually, Make N Music had that rig in stock for some time ...and all I have to say is- YES!

I hope that using a Bongo is OK - but it is usually one of these. The 406 with the 320 head (far right) is the most common weapon of choice. The Furman rack unit always goes on top of the rig that gets to play. A place for the wireless, EQs, tuner, adult beverage.

It's great. I just got the rig and have only played one gig with it so far. It was an outdoor gig and with the the LH500 at around 6, it was plenty loud. It will take some more experimenting but so far I'm very happy with it.

Oh wait did you mean "heavy" as in weight? Ha ha, in that case, it's fairly light (I don't know the exact weight). I can pick it up by myself if I have to (and I'm not very strong...) and the wheels are very handy. The head is about 25 lbs + the weight of the Gator case I got for it.

I run through an older model Peavey ED 300 with a normal and a bright channel, originally made for electronic drums, with a 15" scorpion. I also have a SWR workmans 15,but like the peavey sound a little better. Neither are giants, but both meet my needs.
