How large are those speakers?

They are 12". One 112T Neox Genz Benz and one 212T Neoz Genz Benz. I've only used this setup once and really didn't need it then. Most rooms the 212T is plenty enough but smaller venues I use the 112T. Great combination. The power is a Genz Benz ShuttleMax 12.0 :)

How does the 212T compare with a 4-10? As much punch?

Thanks!

Personally I think it has every bit as much and it only weighs 50lbs. It has not left me wanting for more and I get compliments all the time on the sound.
Also it will slide right in the back seat of my Ford Taurus and leave room for a passenger. It will also fit in the trunk with ease but it's easier to load and unload from the seat. GB make great stuff!!! Oh, it also has built in tilt back wheels :)

This is a topic I can excel in. I have around 3 different rigs at the moment so i will put some pics up soon. Everything from all school all tube Orange rig to ultra light like the RH450 and LM3.

Some people concentrate on lots of basses, I like to have around 5-6 basses and lots of amps/cabs as well.

I was unsure about the weight. I noticed the manufacturer's web site claims 50 lbs., but several online retailers list the weight as 62 lbs.

(You can see that weight means a lot to me. I'm getting lazy in my old age. :) )

Thanks,

Probably shipping weight with packaging. Everyone is always asking, hey you need help with that? I always laugh at the comments and expressions from them when they lift it. It LOOKS much heavier. A great cabinet.:D

Great rigs in this thread! So nice to see all kinds of combinations.

Here's my Stingray "Rig of Doom". If you'd like to hear it, tell me what U.S. state you are in, I'll aim the cabinet that way, and turn it to "11". :)

I've got a few rig options. I own 3 SWR Goliath Jr 2x10 cabs so I can mix and match depending on the gig and venue situation.

Amp-wise, I own four (edit: I can't count). One is a Markbass LMII .....

"Amp" option #2 is an Alembic F1-X preamp into a QSC PLX 1804 power amp (2 x 900w @ 4 ohms) ....

My latest acquisition is an Ampeg V4BH head, and I've retro'ed it and the cabs with removable panels made with vintage style Ampeg grille cloth

For living room practice I've got a Yamaha BBT110S 1x10 cab that I can use with the Markbass, and for recording, home practice, and "unplugged" gigs I've got an Ampeg SB-12 ....

Awesome stuff! I vote for #2! :)
I have one of those little Yamaha 1x10's as well. Killer little 4ohm cab!

I am currently running my basses through a Crate BXE 215 cab (2 x 15" speakers) and a Crate 440 Head. I have had this set up since the mid 90's and it has done well. However, as soon as I get the money, I will be upgrading to a Mesa 4 x 10 Powerhouse cab and a Mesa M9 Carbine head. I also might add a Mesa Walkabout for jamming at home or smaller venues.
