I think the connection is they serve food at Alice's Restaurant and you serve food at Thanksgiving too.

Sinead O'Connor -- Throw Down Your Arms (reggae covers w/Sly & Robbie, excellent)
Fountains of Wayne -- Out of State Plates (odds & sods collection)
X -- Los Angeles/Wild Gift (because I'm going to see them next Monday night, woo-hoo!)

This week -
-Dream Theater (there's a surprise
) - Falling Into Infinity
-Sarah Macclachan - Surfacing (just rediscovered it and dusted it off)
-Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
-Jimi Hendrix - Smash Hits
-The Veggie Tales - I don't know the name of it, but It's hillarious Christmas music for my kids and I laugh my butt off too)
-Creed - Weathered
-Led Zeppelin - one of the box set discs
-Police - same as Zep
I also listen to books on CD and motivational speaker CDs a lot - helps keep the mind alive and optimistic. Plus if I listen to too much music I start playing bits and thinking they're mine, but . . . Sometime's turning off the music has been the best thing for my songwriting.

Beth, check out the Live in Los Angeles DVD. It was filmed late last year during the reunion show that led to this year's X tour. I watched that DVD and bought tickets for the show the next day.
