A few years ago on a cold winter morning, my then four-year-old son opened the bathroom door after I just got out of the nice, hot shower, running away laughing maniacally. My initial response was, "you little sh....", but I caught myself before dropping the s-bomb, and steamthief is what came out. It's a great memory of a moment in time, especially as that kid is now nearly twelve and is literally in my face singing along with Iron Maiden while I'm trying to type this!

MN is my initials. My name is Mike Newton. As for the numbers, my other passion in life besides God, family, and guitars is any sport that requires an internal combustion engine. 24 is Jeff Gordon and 46 is Valentino Rossi. When I put them all together I get MN246.

I took my name from a Brian Setzer album, GuitarSlinger, and got sick of it and shortened it to Slingy, which is more unique and shorter.

My name comes from my favorite airplane, the A-10 Warthog.... I use this as my nick name on forums (when available)...

It also allows me to sign my posts with "OiNk".

Multiversal.. like Universal.. but..

"A multiverse (or meta-universe) is the hypothetical set of multiple possible universes (including our universe) that together comprise all of reality. The different universes within a multiverse are sometimes called parallel universes. The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe within it and the relationship between the various constituent universes, depend on the specific multiverse hypothesis considered."

i was just gonna say that!!! ;)

Wish I'd come up with something snazzy and cool now.

If Chris G is taken I tend to add either 9 (my old football number, soccer to the Americans) or 22 (my old football number, American football to those of us in the UK) - I played both.
