I think any artist that plays strats, teles, or super strats needs to try an EBMM. If they still chose to play something else then they are not a good choice for EBMM. I mean do we really want dumb asses playing EBMM on TV. I thought that market was cornered by Blender. Well I think we are all safe as long as I dont show up on TV. ;)

From Wikipedia:

"Tim has never had a drivers' licence (due to dyslexia), nor a bank account. He also overdosed twice in his younger years and recovered fully both times. The distinctive way that Armstrong sings with the slur is due to his overuse of alcohol during his teenage years. Although sober now, but he still carries that unique and captivating accent with him."

Tim Armstrong

AMEN Senior Jon ... you guys gotta make a hollowbody tho. he's all about that Gretsch. Ive read that besides his old acoustic from the OPIV days thats the only guitar that "feels right" to him ... tho i have seen him play an SG. Tim can play that skank like nobodies business tho. last time i saw them live he went into a skank part in between one song and into an other and i was lovin how cleanly he was playing the "un da, un da - du dun da" :) he's the man

I'd love to see Billie Joe Armstrong playing an EBMM. He's a total LP Junior guy now but i can imagine an Axis w/ 1 MM90 in the bridge, hartail w/ Peizo. I bet he'd dig that ... covers the LP junioir thing and the Peizo would help him out cuz he plays some acoustic on the tunes from the last 2 albums. maybe he wouldnt dig the small neck tho.

ive got a good buddy that was the singer of band Tim was in about 18 years ago now ... some may know who im talkin about. anyways - this friend of mine's told me abuncha cool stories about "life with Tim". Tim's an interesting feller ... and a mad scientist songwriter. he's a badass

Jon do you have the Hellcat DVD? you should check it out. its sweet. has a bunch of live Rancid clips, Joe Strummer donig Rudie Can't Fail, many other Hellcat bands and some cool behind the scenes footage - my favorite is Tim Armstrong doing OPIV's Warning unplugged while Davey from AFI sings. If you dont buy it i can bring it to ya at open house and u can mail it back when you're done checkin it out

what the f is he wearing?

I don't know. I'm trying to ignore it in the hopes that it will go away.

Anyway, who would I like to see playing a EBMM? Well, I'm not sure about anyone elese, but I would like to see me playing more of them. Especially a couple of Sparkles. As far as anyone else, I'm I the only one that could see David Gilmour plaing a Silo? Seriously, I would love to see Gilmour play a Silo. I think that guitar was made for him. Other players on my list include:

Alex Lifeson - Silo
The Edge - Silo
Paul Gilbert - Petrucci hybrid
Steve Wilson - Silo
Jim Matheos - Petrucci
Trey Anastasio - Silo
Adam Jones - His own Signature model.

C'mon BP, lets get these guys on the roster. :D

So i have a lot of musicians and bands i love but not all of them play EBMM guitars/basses. I thought it would be fun to see which artists we all would like to see playing our fav. instruments.

So here's a few folks off the top of my head:

Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar - Green Day)
Jake Kiley & Jordan Burns (the two guitarists from Strung Out)
Matt Freeman (bassist - Rancid)

what about.......eh.....Spice Girls....hahaha!!!! OH MY GOD!! :D
