Yes but they update their website every Tuesday with the latest approved patents;)

Just type Ernie Ball into their search engine and you can see all the past patents.

Cool! Didn't know that.

Yeah it's kind of neat. The compensated nut is there, a bunch of string patents, and one that I assume is the silent circuit called "Musical pick-up device with isolated noise cancellation coil".

There is also a section called patent applications that you can search as well as the issued patents.

Is it the new tuners that were supposed to appear on the Anniversary bass?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed they weren't on the Anniversary Basses. I wonder what happened to them?

I doubt it's the tuners. That doesn't seem to be a "blow your socks off" kind of announcement.

I really can't think of anything that would make my EBMM any better. Seriously, the trem, the lock tuners, everything on my guitar is so wonderful.

It's pretty hard to think of something that will blow my mind.

Has anyone alerady suggested that it might be onboard effects (phaser, flanger, delay etc...) on the guitar or a synth midi-controller pickup a-la-Roland ?

Well guys, I think we are going to have to wait til NAMM. As we all know BP and the folks at EBMM are pretty open with giving us the behind the scenes look at things like the new JP design, the early stages of the 25th, etc, etc, but because they are in the patent stage of this new item I can understand them keeping this news hush, hush. 11 days to go.:eek:

Well, we could be steering in the wrong direction. It could be something as simple as locking tuners! I know I sound silly, but when I got my EBMM those things blew my mind. (No Joke)

Perhaps its a small adjustment that many guitar manufacturers take for granted or assume don't need redesign that BP and Crew are planning to reinvent and reinnovate.
