Your Dream Bongo?

My dream Bongo is the trans red mahogany Bongo with birdseye neck that was created as a one-off a few years ago and recently sold. Make me one of those in a 4H and I'm buying. It'd be a fraternal twin to my 30th Anniversary Stingray.

Of course, assuming EB eventually comes up with something special for a BFR Bongo, I might forget all about the mahogany. I know they've been coming out with new stuff at an amazing clip recently, but don't forget about us Bongo lovers. Please?

Nope, wasn't daft at all. Just clarifying what someone had already started.

And, he's more likely to get a stealth 6 string HSp Bongo than I am to get a 5 string HSp Bongo with a vintage-tint-flame maple/maple necked Coral Red Bongo with white pickup covers.

The cool Bongo shape with a fine natural wood finish, i think that would look gorgeous.

But still... stealth Bongo 4 with ebony fretboard, strung with hypothetical EB stealth coated strings, without inlays. I bet it would even bend the light. Black Hole Bongo inc!

I think Silverburst would look great on a Bongo ... might even replace Blue Dhawn as best Bongo finish. Ebony board and it'd be a hell of a package.

Non-existent finishes aside, my dream Bongo is nothing too "out there": Sterling Silver 5HH with an Ebony board.

5HHP in teal pearlescent; white or blue dawn.

I agree with AD that silverburst would also be a great Bongo colour - sort of reminiscent of Antigua (guitar colour, not the place), but much much better

However I am a StingRay man so this will have to wait at least until I have classic 2 band maple neck Ray.

Bongo 6 HsHp (yes, hum/single/hum/piezo) in Orange Firemist with EBONY fretboard and all black hardware, no inlay markers, but "kamakazee" in mother-of-pearl written across the ebony.
