well, received the call while I was at work, from my gf, That my amp had arrived. I was so excited that I decided to see if I could get out early. I could not wait to get home, I felt like a kid at christmas. As I'm pulling my newly acquired Cornford hellcat combo out of the box what do you think the first thing I noticed was? The cabinet itself seemed to be kind of flimsy and wobbly? I set it down and there my heart sank, The whole right side of the cabinet is split right down the side. Another goddam tragedy from f*cking ups
Even better, while I'm contemplating keeping it and just having it repaired I decide to call the gc i bought it from. As I'm talking to my salesperson I notice that they labeled the tubes themselves when they removed them but didn't provide a diagram for the chassis side
well, i figured it out and as I go to turn it on, They didn't pack a damn power cord with it
Finally got it powered up and it sounds good but a couple of the pots are bent. this has been such a disappointing ordeal. Just for ****s, I'm going to bring it to Noll's amp guy this weekend before i decide to bring it back but that Friedman brown eye amp is looking pretty good right about now
