I love this guitar but Ive been noticing lately, the lack of contour is really digging in to my forearm.
Thinking of trading it in for a J.P or silo, anyone else have this problem, was thinking of getting some sort of forearm band to wear as this gets painful after playing for any length of time.
I also have a sub1 but the rounded edge does'nt bother my forearm hardly at all,its only when I play the Ass I notice this.

I have the problem playing guitars with no forearm contour.
I actually talked about this very same issue awhile back. Upon recomendation of some fellow forum members, I started wearing an arm band on my picking arm, it really does help and it doesn't interfere with my performance at all.
ever since, I started to notice a lot of guys are wearing it.

i also realize that the JP forearm contour is probably one of the best guitar invention that came along lately. It fits the arm so ergonomically that it feels amazing during long sessions of playing.

Hey Marvo,

If you want something similar to an ASS, look into a 25th Anniversary or a Reflex(which is based on the 25th). Both are very similar to an ASS and they have the arm contour.

I'm with you man. The whole reason I stopped playing a Les Paul was the damn ridge. And its the ONLY reason I dont own an Axis. Of course thats also the reason I am getting a 25th...

Did I just triple back?

My Axis' will be leaving soon, I can't deal with flat top. Tried a JP6 and the sharp edge in the forearm cut was as bad as the Axis flat top to me. Got the 25th and issue is resolved. Great tone and comfortable too.

Yeah man! Most comfortable guitar that I've ever played.
