Got my used ice blue Humungous Alberto today. Super nice bass. One cool touch is that they designed the pickguards to go AROUND the knobs. Mine came with three pickguards and I was too lazy to switch out to the one I wanted, until I discovered that I wouldn't need to remove any of the knobs to do it. Five minutes later, and I'm done. Can't wait to try it out with some kind of amp.

My new Big Al Dargies Delight fretless

I just bought this from a store in Colorado. I can't wait to get it. Funny thing is I was going to order a regular model and I was surfin last night and found this one. Sweet!

Absolutely. But don't hold your breath. From the moment I bought and played my silver Big AL with a maple neck I fell in love with it. I just didn't like the maple board. I was just about to order a fretless version of one when I found this one. What makes it even better is that this one has an ebony fingerboard on it were as the standard Big ALs would have a pau fero board.
Plus it being a Dargie makes it that much more special. But thanks for that thought.

OK Eggie and All I dont know if you guys are doing what Im doing but I really liked this bass in the design stages...played them off and on in the factory...Dargie sent me one and the more I play it the more Im loving it. I had a jom the other night with Phil Rich the head guitar guy at GC and kept thinking that I would seitch basses and never did.

totally agree, it´s not a stingray but a simply amazingly good sounding bass in nearly any config.

(If you miss punch use a bigger rig...)

Took another pic of the bass. As you can see, it does have the matching headstock.

Got a new cab (Aguilar DB115) so I set everything up and tried it out. This bass is pretty dope! Just hoping I can remember which settings I like.
