I think Big Poppa should have a calendar for Ernie Ball instruments....being held by various ladies. BP could help in the selection of both. Whadda YOU think?

EBMM sell themselves; why does the ..........think you have to have girls on everything? I am not against girls (been married to one 42 years) but really; GROW UP!
This is my opinion.

Let's not throw away the idea of an Ernie Ball calander just yet. I am sure there are share ware or free ware calander makers out there some where. With the photo shop skills ( like they would be needed anyway) of the members here I'm sure producing a tasteful, non sexist, Erine Ball guitars/ basses/ strings/ artists calander. One that I could hang in my office.

Fine, I found a calander maker free ware in 5 seconds. I'll get Foggy (EBMM pic stalker) to help me choose 12 pics of EBMM stuff. When I'm done I'll either mail anyone who wants one for cost of shipping and printing, or email one for free.

Let's show BP that we can agree on something, anything.

How you can help:
If you can put together a nice collage of Bongos
If you can put together a nice collage of Sterlings
If you can put together a nice collage of Stingrays
make it 8" x 10" Landscape
You can email it to me.

Foggy and I will take care of the guitars part. I do like the idea of BP as Santa with a fat sack of axes. That may need to be photo shopped but OK.

Ixnay on the calendar. go to dean if you like that sort of stuff.

Would everyone please stop the high school sexist crap with Beth. She is a talented commited and valuable team member at EB. She deserves better.

I know you guys are having fun but it really has gone too far.

Show the lady some respect.

thanks

Well said BP. Beth is a gem.

Norm, I have some high res photos of my basses (and ex-basses). I'd be glad to contribute.

Pick a bass. I'll email you the hi-res version.

I'm sure I have photos of a DG Bongo 4 HH and a DG Bongo 5 H. Different pickup configs, but the same color, sure.

Observation....look at the "g" string over the pups. See how it is barley over the front pole? The rear one also. If you bend this string upward on the neck, the string is completly gone from the pole. Any chance of redesigning the poles to be slightly closer, thus advoiding the situation?

I am an avid if not rabid EB bass fan. However I could look at a calendar with all 12 months being a pic of the 20th aniv. Silo.

Here's a "SilRay" for example .. in Black Sparkle. I'm still working on tidying it up on the curves, and adding the pick guard, but thats not so easy .... black pearloid ??

I'm sure someone out there needs a fretless 4 string and a 6 string combination bass, so they can switch during numbers ...

I'd love a pair of full-frontal bongos, 1x5 1x4, with differnet PuP combinatins, and taken in the same light conditions ... then I could see if a double-necked bongo would work. I know the shape lends itself nicely ...
