Trevor Rabin-era Yes,
Beth is Jon still employed after that joke? That's right....Abba and Costello! Thank You!!! Goodnight!
as I re read my post I hope I didnt sound like a bitter old putz, the written word never conveys the meaning . I was kidding and taking the piss outta myself. I have weird sense of humour that Biff will attest to.
Lucious
i don't know if i would consider anything i listen to a "guilty pleasure" i know that there are things that people would definately laugh at, but i'm not embarrassed of anything...
Who gives a crap about what you or I like except you or I? Listen to what moves you, and **** everybody else. It's all about you and what you like, and who cares what others think?
You seem to have a finger fixation
i dug out some records last night, what do you know they were all from 70's or 80's. mostly embarrassing ones too!!!!! these include Hits of 1988, Belinda Carlisle, Wham, Bangles. Oh dear!
Just stumbled across two early Jean Michel-Jarre albums this morning that I'd forgotten I had.
Not sure how big he made it in the US but JMJ was huge here for a while in the 70's/80's with huge instrumental synth stuff, with like, one massive track per album!
Very dated but kinda great too!
I'm sure our French members will have strong opinions on JMJ?
You said you can't put your finger on it, and your avatar says pull my finger
I get a lot of crap for liking Prince and Village people. Sometimes when I try to say Kirk Hammett has written some great solos, I get that "Kirk sucks you fanboy n00b!" kind of crap. Then there's the 80's europop.
I played the melody to Take on Me by Aha once on a 12string in guitar center and got some strange looks![]()
Well, I'm not French (well, I've got some Alsatian bloodlines..) but I love JMJ's "Oxygene" album. It never sits in the CD pile too long without a listen. Brilliant stuff.. especially when you consider that it was 1976!
YMCA has the power to move literally 100's of drunk people in a room like you would not believe!
