I think that BP told them (CC) that it was a costume party, so people could wear jeans or shorts or just about whatever they wanted to (with the exclusion of the butt plug, Bovine).

Hence, western party (jeans) / Big Chill party (shorts & golf shirts). That's the way that I understood it.

Cool! Got the gear for that (sans butt plug). I can make a stop at the local "shop" for that item...

Wonder what their return policy is...?

Hm, sorry for the late reply, but we went to a wedding on Saturday and yesterday was my 29th birthday, so the place was cramped with people. I really appreciate all the effort done until now by all of you to make this work out. I would gladly play 1 or 2 songs (heck, that would be cool, after all the airmiles, I will probably be in for some major guitar busting :p :D :p ). But, as mentioned by others, I would prefer to do songs that I can sing myself.

From the list I posted, those would be: Stuck in the middle, The road, Walking by myself, Rocking in the free world and born to be wild. So, if it's ok with you guys, pick some of those. If people need a second guitar player, I'm always willing to help out. It's been a while since I heard something from the bass players that were willing to play along with me, so I hope that they still are ready to help me out. If you want, I can always send you a text with chords from the songs mentioned above so we can start off with playing in tune, that's always nice of course :p

And of course, if nobody feels like playing with me or nobody can use a second guitar player, than I have no problem with that, but I definitely want to play a song if possible.

Thanks guys, I'm really looking forward to this, even the 16 hour plane trip cannot keep me from longing for the open house.

Cheers, Tom.

PS: I really understand if you feel a little bummed by my late reply, so if you already have a finished list, I'll just go with that, no problem... :)

Yeah, that is one nutso song list :D

Personally, I'd love to play anything (and I'm happy to double on Drums if we wear out the pro) but I'll settle for getting tres loaded at the bar and waiting until it turns into one collosal jam with 100 guys on stage :p

Stuck in the middle?

Name your key, foreign person!

Jack, we normally play the Jeff Healey version (but I'm far from that good on guitar, but that's another story) which is in C. And than there is also F and G and that's about it I think.

Cheers, Tom.

I only know the original version but I reckon it is about three chords no matter what, so count me in if you need me. If someone else has already volunteered, I'll also be happy to sit around and make fun of you, so no worries.
