Hi guys,
Newbie post here, hope you can give me some info on a black Stingray 4 HS I just bought.
It's brand new and been sitting in a case for many years - it's mint!!!
I've owned two MM Sub Basses and had a beautiful 5 String Bongo HH + piezo a few years back.
Love this new one, has a beautiful neck.
Serial: E31285

I'm looking into buying a bass used. It's a Stringray 5HH. I wanted to know the history of the bass before investing. The serial number is E54172

Thanks.

A Stingray 4 with Ceramic pickups or a Sterling in Blueburst? I guess either would be very rare!

Your bass was completed on December 15th, 1999. The color is pearl platinum.

From the factory the first knob should be volume and the other 3 should have center detents, they are the 3 eq knobs. Take the 2nd knob off the pot, see if the pot then has a center detent. If it does, put the pot in the center detent then put the knob back on. If that works then your controls should be just as I mentioned.

Hi!!
I bought my first SR5 today! Could you please tell me all the specs? SN: E12815. Pickup cover and scratch plate are custom painted afterwards quite nicely but could you tell me the original colours? Thanks on advance!!! I'm thrilled about this new bass!!!

I just bought a used SR5 with serial number E71805. It isn't listed in the databases, and I would appreciate any information about it.
