Official Dargie Delight II thread

DD2 Sterling 5 on the way!

I just got word from my local dealer that my Sterling 5 has shipped!! I too am curious about how many of each different model/config was ordered in the DD2 finish. Mine is a single H Sterling 5, matching headstock. I think it will nicely compliment my SR5HH DD and 25th5HSS.

It should be here in time for my Friday night gig at a local Irish pub. Very fitting.

I got the call that my Bongo 5H has arrived. I've been working until 6 p.m. all this week so I have to wait and pick it up on Tuesday which is my next day off. I can't wait to see it!!
 
So.. Brandt called me this afternoon. My Bongo 6 arrived... and it's on it's way. Woohoo.. Should be here by Friday. Hope to break it in this weekend.

I love those inlays on the fretboard! I love the paint job, but the markers just finish it off beautifully.
 
My DD2 Sterling 5 arrived today. Here's a couple of quick pics with it alongside it's older big brother. First one without flash, second with. I'll be gigging it this Friday night for sure!

The last one really shows off the color changing. Your wife did an outstanding job! Very cool!
 
Dayem, what did they paint that with? Stunning! Absolutely Stunning!! I love all that color shift.
