Ohio calling..........

there is a lot of room for people to get angry in a thread like this. i do think as adults we should be able to talk about this in a civil fashion.

Does he get a max of 2 terms?

At least you get light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

Never mind Ronnie, you'll probably get Arnie next time (part of me actually believes this will happen). Time to stage a mass exodus!

I don't think Arnie will happen. But I'm not going to hold my breath on that.

i agree. Arnie is very unlikely to become a president. He simply hasn't got the style of a 'leader'. Bush has it. Maybe Cheney will follow.

Nobody got angry yet (except Jon on where this s/b posted :D).

I'm about the least qualified really. I don't have a lot of faith in politicians (they are pretty much all as bad as each other in my eyes, with few exceptions). Secondly, I don't have a clue about US politics. I'm sure there's much more to it all than what I know about (Iraq & the healthcare situation is the extent of it for me....)

I have, however, made a judgement on Dubya...... ;)

God Bless America

It's finally over and now we can hopefully get back to loving and respecting eachother and not being Democrats and Republicans but Americans. President Bush won both the popular vote and the electoral college so how's that for a mandate.

Atleast Senator Kerry decided what was best and gave in instead of getting all the damn lawyers involved in a losing desperate effort. I respect him for that.

I am not angry at all. I just think that unless Bush or Kerry play bass, this is not where they should be talked about. Is that hard to understand?

Oh yeah... Those that think Arnie will get the nod next time need to remember the guy wasn't born in America. At the present he is not able to be President of the United States. He would like to change that but right now it just isn't possible.

Andrew

Kerry did play bass when he was younger. He was even in a band. I remember reading Newsweek story were they talked to his former band mates about Kerry and weither they would vote for him. I think the vote was tied.

Possibilities for Republican candidate are Condi Rice, Rudi Guilliani, John McCain, and one that I forgot. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for McCain.

Who knows for the Dems. Probably Hillary. Hillary vs Condi would be interesting.

Back when Hillary was deciding to run there were bumper stickers that said "Run Hillary Run" The Democrats put them on their back bumpers, and the Republicans put them on the front bumpers :D

I wonder how Michael Moore feels right now. On one hand he made lots of money off of Fahrenheit 9 11. On the other hand he failed to keep Bush from being re-elected. He is a very slick movie maker but such an arrogant bastard. I hope he feels smaller today and sees he isn't as powerful as he thinks he is.

So, Jon - you happy to contribute now?

I thought this WASN'T the place?
