I love Paul's playing on Jamiroquai's she's a fast persuader. I don't know if it was recorded using a musicman but i think those bass parts were made for a stingray :)

Let's show some love for Craig Young. After that, I go with Colin Edwin of Porcupine Tree who showed me the light with his Stealth Bongo.

I posted 2 years ago who I liked but since then I have learned of other players. My all time favorite bass player is Ronnie Cates of Petra. He used a Stingray for some songs so he is number one followed by Michael Anthony, then John Myung, Dave LaRue and then Tony Levin. Heck, I even like the stuff Randy Jackson does too so he would need to be added to the list. There was also a female bassist that someone on here posted not to long ago of a vieo they made that was just instrumental. That was my only time hearing her but it impressed the heck out of me and I instantly liked her work and it inspired me to want to learn some of her techniques. I don't remember her name though.
