The classic.
Paul Denman

The not so classic.
Dave Larue

And lots of others but those two made me want to play a Musicman Bass.

Johnny christ because if it weren't for him i'd never have bought mmy stingray's. instead i'd be a bongoloid >=(.

I know what you guys are saying, but are not Timmy C and John Deacon (2 of my all time fave players) more guys who used Rays, rather than MM players ( Tim is Jazz man and John a P bass man) IMHO ?

From my previous post in this thread:

It should be noted that John Deacon is mainly associated with a P-bass. The bass-line to "Another One Bites The Dust" was recorded on his StingRay and he openly acknowledged the line's influence to Bernard Edwards' bass line from "Good Times."

I already voted for Dave La Rue, but right now one more name passed through my mind, ...Jennifer Young, she's amazing! :)

DOUGIE THOMPSON of Supertramp - encyclopedias of MM Sounds!

Charles Meeks of Chuck Mangione - Feels So Good, Children of Sanchez - Live at Hollywood Bowl...

Of course you have to go back to the Late 70s

Well with that kind if thinking, then you'd have to rule out Bernard Edwards. He used several brands of instruments throughout his career.
But you simply can't, he's one of the undisputed kings of the StingRay.
