Has pricing been posted yet?
Thornton Davis said:These look awesome, but I need clarification regarding the neck. The announcement flyer posted in post #1 of this thread says that the necks are "Figured roasted maple necks with gunstock oil and hand rubbed special wax blend finish". So am I correct in my understanding that these necks have a "satin" finish even though the necks have been roasted?
TD
Definitely satin, no gloss on this one. Same finish process as a production model.
This option adds $400 to list price here in the USA
Pete,
Does that $400 include the matching headstock ($200) and honeyburst finish ($100) or is that $400 upcharge on top of everything?
PDN dealers... order a lot of Bongos!!
Don't forget you can get these in fretless if you so desire
Matt... havent seen you in a while.... Will you be excluding these fine stainless steel frets from your order?
Hog Bongo in honeyburst.....these are exciting times, people.
I am out on this one... as much as i would love a Hog Bongo. Just bought a new Mini Cooper last month and buying a house in July. Hopefully some show up used towards the end of the year. PDN dealers... order a lot of Bongos!!
UPDATE to this post... My single H Roasted/Black Sugar Bongo sold in under 24 hours (thanks Bob!). My order for a Single H PDN special Bongo will be placed with Beaver later in the week. Haven't decided if i am going with a 4 or 5 yet. I am thinking a 5er since i haven't owned on in a while. Can't wait to check out the Mahog Bongo and new tuners. JOSH
