Congrats BP and everyone at EBMM!
Although I think JM is the lucky one.
It couldn't have happened to a better group of folks!
I just went to the Dream Theater web site. they have a video you can download and JM is playing a 5 string Bongo. Let the games begin!

Awesome, I can't wait to see Myung playing on 8/22 (or 22/8, if you're into that sort of thing). Hopefully he'll be playing one of these brand spanking new Bongos. :)

Congrats to Dudley, BP, and the rest of the crew for making an instrument so well received on the first try. There can be no better endorsement for a 6-string bass than John Myung playing it.

As for him joining the forum, I don't think he ever puts a bass down long enough to type anything... :D

Can we call the 6-er the "Johngo"? :D:D:D

The Funny thing is we have been sending Stingrays for the past few years and while he loves the tone, its the cosmetic shape of the bongo that really sold him.

I don't much about DT or John Myung, but I like him already!

Congrats to the hardworking design team, Ernie Ball in general and John Myung in particular. I'm sure he knows from JP what a great family this is.

Thanks for the props BP, it's been an exciting process and a great opportunity. I'm looking forward to meeting John in person and hoping to make it up to the Berkeley show this weekend. (It will be my first DT show!)
